The obsession with mind numbing lists and pictures of cats lets what could be a good thing down. For all that is divine; stop with the annals and give us some succinct factual reportage.

These people are kidding right? Cant read an article unless I let them access my private Facebook info. No thanks. Deleted!

I really like this app! ⭐⭐⭐⭐

I like this apps look and feel, particularly the thumb up/thumb down comment section which allows the user to feedback on each comment, and facilitates several levels of related responses on the main discussion thread. The journalism effort in each article is usually up to scratch with any newspaper, and typically provide an objective read. As a non resident of the country, its intriguing to browse opinions shared as frankly and sincerely as herein. Of course, trolling cant be avoided, but at least the trolls are called out rapidly.

Great site. Very informative about whats happening in Ireland (where my daughter and her family live) and world news too. So amazing to be back in touch with the land of my grandparents who came to America (New York city) over 100 years ago. Now my grandchildren (2year old triplets) are back in the "ol sod". Keep up the good work

I am an Irish citizen permanently living in the US (i have dual citizenship). But, i get "connected" via the Journal. Great coverage of current matters. Superior sense of humor. Whats not to like?

I like this app. Always has great stories and photos.

I have followed The Journal.ie for some time. It truly feeds the hunger of the mind. I enjoy the comment section and the flashes of whit as much as the stories.

I really enjoying reading this everyday, I do wish we could sign in using discus , as most sane freedom loving people quite using spy book (FB) and twitter, please do something about this, thanks!

Dont redirect people to your single purpose app. Its incredibly annoying.

When I click a story on Facebook I actually want to read the story. I know. Its shocking isnt it? The fact that I would rather read the story then be automatically redirected to the App Store to download a pointless app just to read a story. I downloaded the app simply so I could leave this review. I will now promptly delete it

I was so galled by the fact that I was redirected to the app store when I clicked on a link to a news story, that I actually downloaded this app just so I could leave this review. It could be the best app ever written, but it still deserves 0 stars for this heavy-handed, manipulative practice. The moment this review posts, I will delete the app, and I will never click on a thejournal.ie link again.
