Simple and effective navigation. Some excellent features - especially the slideshows. Diverse stories with an eclectic eye. Spirited and sometimes one-eyed reader comments. I do not look at any other Irish news site any more.

An enjoyable and easy way to keep up with the hot mess that is Ireland. The best part is the comments after each story. I didnt there were so many Irish bigots on the Internet

Brilliant app. Always bang up to date on news. Highly recommend it.

I love The Journal app, I travel a lot and keep up with home via The J- app. My only caveat is that one can not post a comment without being signed up to Facebook or Twitter - why? Talk about herding...
